Chilli garlic green beans

Bean there, done that? Try this chilli garlic green beans to mix things up. But first let’s look at some benefits of green beans shall we? Some of the health benefits of green beans include the reduced risk of heart disease and colon cancer. Green beans also provide a big boost to your immune system and contribute to the elimination of harmful free radicals. Green beans are low in calorie dietary choice and are great for obtaining vitamins and minerals without adding any unwanted pounds Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon light olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 425° Fahrenheit or 220 ° Celsius
  2. Place the green beans in a large bowl and toss them with the olive oil and chili garlic sauce.
  3. Transfer the beans to a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time, or until beans are tender and just starting to brown. Stir in the lime juice and season with salt to taste.
Note: Chili garlic sauce is sold in the international aisle at most grocery stores. If you don't have light olive oil on hand, any neutral-flavored oil with a high smoke point will work.
